  2. Solar Laboratory Incubation Centre: Our college possesses Solar Power System of 40KVA. Solar panels have been installed on the roof top of the college building. The costing of electric bill has been decreased more than 50% than those of the previous bills, resulting the reduction in total expenditure of the college. The data procured from this solar system can be observed from the attached grid meter. Daily data of total power generated by solar panels, reduction of Carbon di oxide (CO2) and the saving of plants are obtained from the grid meter attached with the solar panels. The various types of researches are carried on with these data analysing the carbon reduction in the atmosphere, the saving the environment and the plants. The instruments used here in this laboratory are Solar Panel, Solar Inverter, Solar Charge Controller, Solar Battery, Solar Light, Solar Fan, Solar CCTV Camera, Solar Cap, Solar Home Lighting System, Solar On-Grid System, Solar Off-Grid System. Solar Structure Making etc. It is also the incubation centre of Bangabasi College. Some training programmes on Solar Panel installation and Solar technology are carried on in this centre, which has recently been affiliated by NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation). Internship programmes according to National Education Policy (NEP) are also conducted in this centre. Various types of Research activities are reflected through National, International Level Seminars being performed very frequently. It becomes very rich participative learning programmes for the students.
  3. Physics Laboratory: The Department of Physics, in the ground floor of the College, boasts of a recently overhauled and renovated, fully equipped, Wi-Fi and ICT enabled Laboratory with modern equipment and apparatus, catering to both Honours & General Course students. Every time during the College hours, the laboratory is full of enthusiastic groups of students, working on the different experimental set-ups/apparatus to increase their practical skills and also to verify the different laws/principles of Physics which they encounter in their textbooks. They are always under the supervision of the faculty and are helped by the Laboratory staff. Maintaining the log books, regular recording of data and getting the practical notebooks signed is mandatory. Updated Laboratory Manuals are there in order to help students to maintain their Lab-Records. Students are provided with individual Electronics Kits for practice, one for each group. To keep up with the enthusiasm of learning Physics, different portions of the Physics Laboratory have nomenclatures in rhythm with different physical constants like 'G' (Universal Gravitational Constant), (pi), 'kB' (Boltzmann Constant), 'c' (velocity of light), (fine structure constant) ' ' (reduced Planck's constant), 'e-' (electronic charge), 'Byte' etc. Along with classical apparatus, advanced measuring equipment like balances, spectrometers, galvanometers, travelling microscopes, Analog and digital meters like CRO and energy sources as high tension discharge tubes, function generators etc., the Physics Laboratory houses a number of dual boot (Linux & Windows) desktop/laptop computers connected via LAN to a common server.

For taking measurements, there are sufficient number of instruments like Martin's spreading callipers, Martin's sliding callipers, Martin's anthropometers, Harpenden skinfold calliper, weighing machine, sphygmomanometer etc. to conduct the practical classes of Anthropometry. There are equipment like centrifuge to determine the ABO blood groups. Besides ABO blood group, colour blindness, phenylthiocarbamide (PTC) tasting abilityas well as dermatoglyphic tests are also done in the laboratory, as per the syllabus. Moreover, the laboratory has adequate number of human skulls, individual bones and articulated full human skeleton. There are casts of fossil primates like Australopithecus africanus skull, calottes of Sinanthropus Pekinensis and Pithecanthropus erectus; casts of La-Chapelle-Aux-Saints and Cro-Magnon crania; a cast of Dryopithecus Mandible; and a stuffed specimen of a prosimian (lower primate). Among the living primates, there is an original skull of gibbon, and casts of gorilla, chimpanzee and orang-utan. In the context of social cultural anthropology, there are models of different kinds of fishing traps and nets, ploughs and hoes, used in different environmental settings. There is also a model of a husking lever. For ethnographic field-work, there are audio-visual facilities. Furthermore, regarding archaeological anthropology, there are sufficient numbers of original specimens of lower, middle, upper Palaeolithic, Mesolithic, and Neolithic tools from India.
